Xerographies

Ongoing

These xerographies (well, not quite xerographies, but similar concept – I don’t think Munari would be too upset) are part of an ongoing series of found typographic distortions using a simple USB scanner. What I love about this technique is that each one is unique. They’re snapshots of moments in time pieced together; frozen motion and change. Using only found typographic materials and discarded brand packaging as the source of the scans provides a continuation of a search for beauty in the discarded, unwanted, and otherwise useless. With the role that chance and randomness play in this process, each scan is loaded with anticipation..
