Rod Hunting is an award-winning creative director, designer, and artist, living in the  Chicago suburbs. A trained graphic designer, his experience in consumer packaging, advertising, and startups (corporate marketing) have influenced his art practice, ultimately leading him to use a (nearly) obsolete storage device as his artistic medium, creating works with philosophical themes of repetition, time, monotony, and self-perception, and, are often reflections on his time spent working in corporate environments.

He believes that this plurality of artistic expression is a necessary part of any creative practice. More than one-informing-the-other, it’s a Deweyite approach to the arts, more holistic than exclusionary, incorporating music, motion, architecture, carpentry, and writing.
