The Polared project started around 2004 as a way to explore and document my new (at the time) Chicago neighborhood of Pilsen. The parameters were simple: only shoot red things, and only one photograph per red object. This encouraged observance and exploration of my surroundings. The project quickly grew into several hundred red polaroids, documenting red things across three continents, until the film was discontinued around 2008. The below selection is in no particular order.
